How It Came About
The Liam Mellows Memorial Committee (LMMC) was established to safeguard the historical integrity and heritage of Finglas North West. Our mission began as a local effort to ensure the stories of Irish patriots—whose names were assigned to our local streets in the mid-20th century—would continue to resonate with future generations. The Memorial Garden represents our commitment to this legacy; it stands as a community-funded and citizen-managed sanctuary, honouring the patriots whose names define our avenues and roads.
